Private document intelligence for law firms

Your case files, answered — with the citation to prove it.

DocMatch turns case files, filings, discovery, and correspondence into evidence-backed answers. Ask a question or request a report; every claim comes back cited to the source document and passage, so you can verify it in one click.

Runs entirely on your own hardware. Client files never leave your office.

No cloud upload. No third-party AI provider. No model training on your data — ever. Privileged material stays under your physical control, even air-gapped.

Confidentiality first

Built for privileged material

Most AI tools ask you to upload client documents to someone else's cloud. For a law firm, that is the whole problem. DocMatch is engineered the opposite way: the software comes to your data.

Nothing leaves the machine

Documents, questions, embeddings, and reports are processed and stored locally. The application works with the network cable unplugged. There is no telemetry and no usage analytics phoning home.

No third-party model training

The AI models run locally on your hardware. Your matters are never used to train anyone's model, and no external AI provider ever sees a single page.

Access-controlled and audited

Multi-user login with per-matter access. A tamper-evident audit log records what was reviewed, by whom, and when — supporting a defensible review process.

You own the box and the data

Single-tenant by design: one installation per firm. Retention and deletion are yours to control — deleting a matter removes it from your disk, with the deletion itself audited.

How it works

Three steps from file pile to cited answer

No data science team required. If you can attach a file to an email, you can run DocMatch.

Load your documents

Drop in filings, discovery productions, contracts, email archives (MBOX/EML), PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, WhatsApp exports, even scanned paper — built-in OCR reads it locally.

Ask, or request a report

Ask questions in plain language, or generate a matter report: relevant evidence, a source-linked chronology, the people and organizations involved, and items flagged for privilege review.

Verify in one click

Every answer and every report line carries a pinpoint citation with a verbatim excerpt. Click through to the exact source passage and confirm it yourself — no black box.

Where firms use it

Made for document-heavy legal work

Legal is where DocMatch is sharpest — and the same engine serves accountants, compliance teams, claims managers, and any professional buried in documents.

Litigation file review

Get on top of a new or inherited file fast: what happened, when, who said what — each answer cited to the underlying document.

Discovery triage

Point it at a production and surface the documents that matter for your theory of the case before spending associate hours on manual passes.

Chronology building

Generate a source-linked timeline from dates in headers, metadata, and the text itself — every event traceable to its document.

Contradiction spotting

Compare what the filings, correspondence, and exhibits actually say, and find where accounts diverge across the record.

Contract review

Ask targeted questions across a contract set — terms, obligations, dates, parties — and get answers quoting the exact clause.

Due diligence

Work through data-room documents systematically with cited answers, instead of skimming and hoping nothing was missed.

Pricing

Own it. One-time price, no per-page meter.

Cloud eDiscovery bills you by the gigabyte, forever. DocMatch is a one-time purchase that runs on hardware you own — no subscription required to keep access to your own work product.

Trust & FAQ

The questions your IT and ethics review will ask

Where is our data stored?

On the machine DocMatch runs on — your workstation, your server, or the dedicated appliance — in a matters folder you control. Each matter is a self-contained workspace on that disk: documents, extracted text, search index, review state, reports, and its audit log. Nothing is stored with us or any cloud provider.

What leaves the machine?

Nothing. Ingestion, search, question answering, OCR, and report generation all run locally. There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, no usage analytics, and no external AI API. The application is fully functional with no internet connection at all.

Which file types are supported?

PDF (including scanned, via local OCR), Word (DOCX), PowerPoint (PPTX), Excel and CSV, plain text and Markdown, email archives (MBOX and EML with attachments), WhatsApp chat exports, images (PNG/JPG with OCR), and ZIP bundles of any of the above. One corrupt file never aborts an ingestion run — it is reported and skipped.

What export formats do we get?

Cited reports export as Markdown, HTML, CSV, and JSON, plus a ZIP bundle of the full matter work product — suitable for the file, for opposing-counsel-safe excerpting, or for archiving with the matter.

What happens to data when we delete a matter?

Deletion is a deliberate, confirmed, audited action — it requires an explicit confirmation phrase, and then the matter is removed from disk. Because everything lives on your own storage, your firm's retention and destruction policy is the only policy that applies.

Who can see which matters?

DocMatch supports multi-user login with role-based access, login lockout, and per-matter workspaces. A tamper-evident audit log records review activity per matter. Single-tenant by design: your installation serves only your firm.

Is this legal advice? Will it replace review by counsel?

No. DocMatch is evidence-discovery support, not legal advice. It can be wrong or incomplete, which is exactly why every claim is cited — results are leads to verify against the original source, and the attorney retains final judgment. Built-in guardrails enforce cautious language and require a source citation on every finding.

What hardware do we need?

The software tier runs on a reasonably modern machine your firm already owns (we'll confirm specs with you before purchase). The appliance tiers remove the question entirely: a dedicated GB10 machine with an NVIDIA AI chip arrives with everything installed.

Honest about what it is. DocMatch is evidence-discovery and document-analysis support — not legal advice, and not a guarantee of completeness or of any legal outcome. All results must be reviewed by qualified counsel against the original sources.
